3D configurator
as a white label
for distributors.

A white-label configurator is the manufacturer's own configurator with the brand of whoever sells: the distributor uploads their logo, enters their trading name, sets their margin and embeds it in their website; the manufacturer keeps the 3D, the rules and the price list, and receives the order with its references. It works for the manufacturer who wants to give it to their network and for the importer or the brand that sells without a factory. How it is built, what each one sees and who pays for what.

— WHAT IT IS

What each one sees
in a white-label configurator.

Three different screens on the same product: the customer's, the distributor's and the manufacturer's.

THE CUSTOMER

The distributor's brand

They open the configurator on the distributor's website, with their logo and colours, configure the product with the real rules and see the distributor's selling price. The PDF comes out with the distributor's brand and, if the distributor ticks the box, without the manufacturer's.

THE DISTRIBUTOR

Their area: logo, margin and requests

They upload their logo, enter their trading name, choose their margin over their purchase price and tick the box to hide the manufacturer's brand on the PDFs they hand out. They see their requests and turn them into orders to the factory without writing them out again.

THE MANUFACTURER

The 3D, the rules, the price list and the order

They maintain the product, the limits and each distributor's purchase price list from the panel, with versioning. They receive the order with their references and quantities, always in the same format, whichever distributor it comes from. They see what each one configures.

— HOW IT IS BUILT

How a configurator
is built for a distributor network.

A single development. Each distributor is a sign-up, not a project.

  1. 01

The manufacturer's configurator, with rules and price

Product in 3D, manufacturing limits, purchase price list per distributor and order sheet. It is the level with rules and price. Without this there is no white label to hand out.

  2. 02

    One sign-up per distributor

The manufacturer registers each distributor from the panel: user, purchase discount, area and alert email. The distributor completes their area with logo, trading name and margin. Sign-up with request and approval is developed in the project if wanted.

  3. 03

On each distributor's website, with one line of code

Each distributor embeds the configurator in their website with one line of code that carries their code: whatever is configured there is in their name and comes out with their brand. Also on their shop tablet and on the installer's phone. See 3D configurator for installers.

  4. 04

Requests from the manufacturer's website, shared out

What comes in through the manufacturer's website is assigned by area to the relevant distributor, with an email alert. The manufacturer decides whether the customer sees the list price or is referred to the distributor. More in generating leads with a 3D configurator.

— WITHOUT A FACTORY

Also the other way round:
for those who sell without a factory.

Importers, brands and distributors who buy the finished product and sell it under their own name.

A pergola importer, a furniture brand that manufactures abroad or a door distributor with its own brand has the same problem as the manufacturer, with the roles swapped: someone else provides the catalogue, but the sale, the price and the brand are theirs. The configurator is built with the manufacturer's rules (what can be ordered and in what sizes), with the seller's price list, transport and installation, and with their brand in front.

The order sheet comes out with the manufacturer's references, in their language if needed, to be sent as it is. And if the manufacturer changes, the reference table changes, not the configurator. See 3D configurator company for manufacturers and for those who sell without a factory and multilingual 3D configurator for export.

Development starts from €6,500 for a visual configurator of one product family; most manufacturer projects fall between €14,500 and €35,000, depending on catalogue, rules and integrations, plus maintenance from €190/month. The distributor area with brand and margin is at the level with rules and price; in the integrated technical level it comes with the cutting list and the connection to the shop or the management software.

— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What we get asked
about white label.

There are more short answers in frequently asked questions about 3D configurators and who we are in 3D configurator company.

What is a white-label 3D configurator?

The manufacturer's configurator with the brand of whoever sells: the distributor uploads their logo, enters their trading name, sets their margin and embeds it in their website with one line of code; the PDF comes out with their brand and, if they tick the box, without the manufacturer's. The 3D, the rules and the purchase price list are maintained by the manufacturer.

Does each distributor need their own development?

No. It is a single configurator; each distributor is a sign-up from the manufacturer's panel: user, purchase discount, area and email. The distributor completes their area with logo, name and margin.

Can the distributor hide the manufacturer's brand?

Yes, if the manufacturer allows it: in their area they tick the box to hide the manufacturer's brand on the PDFs they hand to the customer. The order sheet that reaches the factory always carries the manufacturer's references.

Does it work for an importer or a brand that does not manufacture?

Yes. The configurator is built with the manufacturer's rules and with the seller's price list, transport and brand; the order sheet comes out with the manufacturer's references, in their language if needed. If the manufacturer changes, the reference table changes, not the configurator.

How does the distributor's order reach the factory?

The distributor configures with the customer in front of them and turns the request into an order with their details, the project reference and the delivery; the order sheet reaches the manufacturer by email and in the panel, always in the same format, with references and quantities.

How much does a white-label configurator cost?

Development starts from €6,500 for a visual configurator of one product family; most manufacturer projects fall between €14,500 and €35,000, depending on catalogue, rules and integrations, plus maintenance from €190/month. The distributor area with brand and margin is at the level with rules and price; distributor sign-ups have no development cost. Details in the price of a 3D configurator.
