3D configurator
for installers
from the site, on the phone.

The installer is on site with the tape measure in hand and the customer beside them, and the manufacturer is at the factory with the price list. Between the two, a phone call, a photo on WhatsApp and a quote that arrives the next day. A 3D configurator for installers closes that gap: measurements from the phone, instant price with their margin, augmented reality on the customer's wall and the order to the factory without writing it out again.

— ON SITE

What it does
on site, with the customer in front of you.

It opens with a link or a QR code in the phone's browser, with nothing to download. Everything you do on the computer you do on site.

01 · MEASUREMENTS

The opening's measurements, instantly

Front, depth and height; length and width of the plot; linear metres of railing. The configurator applies the manufacturer's rules (maximum width and weight per panel, minimum height, modules that fit) and warns if something does not comply, with the way out in one click. The installer finds out whether it fits without calling anyone.

02 · PRICE WITH THEIR MARGIN

Their cost and their selling price

With their code they see their purchase price and choose their margin; with the customer code, the request is in their name and the customer sees the selling price. Installation by area and floor, transport and extras go into the price with the manufacturer's price list.

03 · AUGMENTED REALITY

The product at real size, with no app

From the same phone, the enclosure on the terrace, the charger in the parking space, the door in the opening, the sign on the façade: at real size, so the customer can see it in place and decide.

04 · PDF, LINK AND QR

For whoever decides and was not there

The PDF with the image, the technical data and the price, with the installer's brand if wanted; the link or the QR code so the customer can show it to their partner or the residents' association. For terrace enclosures, the PDF for the residents' meeting.

The charger demo on the phone: the distance to the board goes into the price and the charger appears at real size in the space. Sample prices.
— TO THE FACTORY

From the site to the factory
without writing the order out again.

What today is a voice note from the van and a template filled in by hand, with the configurator is an order sheet the factory reads without interpreting.

The installer fills in their details once, the project reference, the delivery address and the desired date, and the order is saved with the full configuration: every panel with its sizes and its weight, every price line, the handing chosen while looking at the part. It comes out as an order sheet in PDF and by email, with a reference, and stays in the manufacturer's panel with its status.

At the other end, the factory always receives the same format, with its references and quantities: 7 glass panels and 14 anchors for 8 metres of railing; reels, profiles, end caps, clips and power supply for an LED strip; frames, beams and protectors for a shelving bay. The small stuff is not forgotten because nobody writes it: the configurator counts it.

And if the installer sells product from several manufacturers, each family can have its rules, its price list and its order sheet inside the same configurator, with their brand in front. See 3D configurator company for manufacturers and for those who sell without a factory.

— FOR THE MANUFACTURER

What the manufacturer gains
by giving the configurator to its network.

A configurator in the hands of the installer network is the sales channel that brings the most orders and generates the fewest calls.

  1. 01

    An area for each installer

User, discount, margin and, if wanted, their brand on the PDFs. The manufacturer registers each one; registration with a request and approval is developed in the project if needed. More in B2B configurator for distributors.

  2. 02

The same rules for the whole network

The veteran installer and the one who started yesterday quote with the same limits and the same price list, with versioning: a change is tested and goes out to everyone at once.

  3. 03

    Website requests, shared out

What comes in through the manufacturer's website is assigned by area to the relevant installer; what comes in with an installer's code is in their name, including from the configurator embedded in their own website.

  4. 04

    Fewer calls for a figure

Outside dimensions, weights, which power supply a strip needs, how many pallets fit in a lorry: what today gets asked of the factory by phone, the configurator calculates and shows on site.

3D terrace enclosure configurator screen from the demo with the enclosure, the steps and the indicative price

Terrace enclosures

Front, depth and height; the panel split according to the system, with the maximum width and weight; the site checker warns about out-of-square fronts before manufacturing. Workshop sheet and dimensioned drawing.

3D LED strip and profile configurator screen from the demo with the room, the strip lit and the power supply calculation

LED strip and profile

Metres and type of strip: the recommended power supply, the voltage-drop warning and the order sheet with reels, profiles, end caps, clips and power supply. What the electrician works out in their head at the counter, done.

3D solar panel configurator screen from the demo with the house, the roof and the panels on the roof

Solar panels

3D air conditioning configurator screen from the demo with the home, the rooms and the units

Air conditioning

Square metres, rooms, climate zone and orientation: the output, the units, the consumption and the saving compared with an old unit. Split, multi-split or ducted, from the site.

— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What we get asked
by installers and manufacturers.

There are more short answers in frequently asked questions about 3D configurators and who we are in 3D configurator company.

Does the installer have to install an app?

No. The configurator opens in the phone's or tablet's browser with a link or a QR code, with nothing to download, and augmented reality also works without an app. On the phone it does everything it does on the computer.

Can the installer see their price and set their margin?

Yes. Each installer logs in with their code and sees their purchase price with their discount; they choose their margin and the PDF they hand to the customer comes out with the selling price and, if the manufacturer allows it, with their brand. The customer code leaves the request in their name without showing the cost.

Do we still need to go out and measure?

To confirm before manufacturing, usually yes: the configurator does not replace the final measurement or the technical study. What changes is that the visit is no longer just to give a price: the customer has chosen and knows roughly what it will cost, and the installer enters the final measurements on site.

How does the installer's order reach the factory?

The installer fills in their details once, the project reference, the delivery and the date, and the order is saved with the full configuration. It comes out as an order sheet in PDF and by email, with references and quantities, and stays in the manufacturer's panel. The connection to the manufacturer's management software is developed in the project.

Is it useful for an installer who works with several manufacturers?

Yes. An installer or an installation company can have their own configurator with the families of several manufacturers, each with its rules, its price list and its order sheet, and their brand in front. See 3D configurator company for manufacturers and for those who sell without a factory.

How much does a configurator with an installer area cost?

Development starts from €6,500 for a visual configurator of one product family; most manufacturer projects fall between €14,500 and €35,000, depending on catalogue, rules and integrations, plus maintenance from €190/month. The installer area with margin and brand is at the level with rules and price. Details in the price of a 3D configurator.
