3D configurator
for contract
hotels, offices and public space.

In contract you do not sell one bed: you sell 120, in three sizes, with two headboards and the fabric the interior designer chose. The order is decided by a specifier who is not the one paying, goes through a tender or a site manager, and changes three times before it is closed. A 3D configurator for contract does what a private customer's does not need: orders by units and variants, a PDF for the project, a data sheet for the tender and a configuration shared with everyone who has a say.

— WHAT CHANGES

What changes
when the order is a project.

Four things a configurator for private customers does not do and one for contract has to do.

01 · UNITS AND VARIANTS

120 beds in three sizes

The order states how many units of each variant are needed (40 of 90, 60 of 135, 20 of 150; two headboards; one fabric) and generates an order sheet with the price list's volume discount, for the sales team to confirm. It is the hotel order in the bedroom demo.

02 · THE PDF FOR THE PROJECT

Image, data sheet and references

The interior designer or the architect needs the image of the configuration, the data sheet with sizes and materials and the references for the project. It comes out of the configurator as a PDF that is attached to the project, with the manufacturer's brand or the contract distributor's.

03 · ONE CONFIGURATION, SEVERAL OPINIONS

The link that goes round

The configuration is saved with a link and a QR code and is opened by the specifier, the owner, the site manager and the installer. When the interior designer changes the fabric, everyone sees the same version, and the previous one is not lost.

04 · THE TENDER

Sizes, materials and references that fit in a tender

In public space and public works the order is a tender: sizes, materials, finishes, anchors and references in writing. The configurator generates them from what was configured, as in the street furniture demo. See how to order street furniture for a tender.

— FOR THE MANUFACTURER

What the contract manufacturer
gains.

Fewer renders per project, fewer rewritten quotes and an order that arrives complete.

  1. 01

The specifier configures on their own

The interior designer builds the project's variant with the real fabrics and finishes, sees the image and downloads the sheet, without asking for a render or waiting for a sales rep. The manufacturer appears in the project before a price is requested.

  2. 02

The quote is not rewritten three times

Every change in the project (another fabric, twenty more beds, the tall headboard) is a new version of the same configuration, with its recalculated price and its PDF. The final order sheet comes out of the last approved version.

  3. 03

The sales team confirms, it does not calculate

The order sheet by units and variants reaches the projects sales rep with the volume discount applied; they review it, negotiate whatever needs negotiating and confirm it. See 3D configurator for the sales team.

  4. 04

The same configurator for the private customer and for the project

Two developments are not needed: ordering by units, the project PDF and the volume discount are added to the website configurator. Which documents come out of each level, in documents a 3D configurator generates.

Development starts from €6,500 for a visual configurator of one product family; most manufacturer projects fall between €14,500 and €35,000, depending on catalogue, rules and integrations, plus maintenance from €190/month. Ordering by units and variants and the project PDF are at the level with rules and price.

— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What we get asked
about contract.

There are more short answers in frequently asked questions about 3D configurators and who we are in 3D configurator company.

Does the configurator allow ordering many units of several variants?

Yes. The project order states how many units of each variant are needed (sizes, finishes, fabrics) and generates the order sheet with the price list's volume discount, for the sales team to confirm. It is the hotel order in the bedroom demo.

What does the interior designer or the architect receive?

A PDF for the project with the image of the configuration, the data sheet with sizes and materials and the references, and a link with a QR code to open it again and share it with the owner and the site manager. 3D files or drawings for the project, if needed, are agreed in the proposal.

Does it work for public works tenders?

Yes. From what was configured, the configurator generates the sizes, materials, finishes, anchors and references a tender requires, as in the street furniture demo, and the image for the report.

Can several people work on the same configuration?

Yes. The configuration is saved with a link; every change is a new version with its price and its PDF, and the previous one is not lost. Specifier, owner, site manager and installer see the same version.

Is a separate configurator needed for contract and for private customers?

No. Ordering by units and variants, the project PDF and the volume discount are added to the same website configurator; the private customer sees their flow and the professional logs in with their user.

How much does a configurator for contract cost?

Development starts from €6,500 for a visual configurator of one product family; most manufacturer projects fall between €14,500 and €35,000, depending on catalogue, rules and integrations, plus maintenance from €190/month. Ordering by units and variants and the project PDF are at the level with rules and price. Details in the price of a 3D configurator.
